With their progress tracked by the menacing Mountain's Keeper, they have just 14 days to make the 100km journey across treacherous terrain and perilous crossings. Pub landlady Miranda must face her fears and prove she is not slowing the group down, while self-styled 'shark' Dockers singles out his competition and makes an early bid to be a leader. The Mountain's Keeper then tests the group's resolve to get to the summit by forcing them to make a brutal decision, causing tensions to boil over in a dramatic fallout that leaves the team divided.
