The Tribe: Alice finds a new ransom note and realizes that the kidnapper has trouble with spelling. Ned is keen on handing over the Guardian so Amber and Trudy could come back. Trudy and Amber comfort each other as they wait for the Mall Rats to rescue them. Bray tries to make a decision while observing the Guardian and he's convinced that the man can't be helped, but when Bray leaves it seems as if the Guardian might just be putting on a show. Tai-San asks Lex to see for himself exactly how crazy the Guardian is. Ned, KC and Ebony gamble over Bray's decision. Bray decides to hand over the Guardian, and Ebony notes that Amber would be against the idea if she were in his shoes. KC surprises May by giving her flowers since she never got any in her life. Alice and Ned become closer. Jack prepares a special dinner for Ellie with KC's help, but the night is ruined when Ellie can't handle lying to Jack. She rushes to Luke's arms and tells him she loves him. Jack sees them kissing.
