Initial D: After Takumi does his usual tofu deliveries, he tells his father that he wants to drive more so he can prepare for his next race. Their opponents are the Toudou School, which is a specialized racing school run by a car shop owner and a former professional rally racer. Sudo of Team Emperor was from there too. Led by Daiki Ninomiya in his Honda Civic EK-9, and Smiley Sakai in his Integra DC2 Type R, the Toudou School has a strong aura that gets Project D nervous. As both teams prepare for the race, very little is known about each other’s styles. Meanwhile, Ryosuke hints to Fumihiro that he has a hidden objective for his racing team, and that it involves the letter D in his Project D team name.
