Initial D: Following the conclusion of the NightKids vs. RedSuns uphill race, it begins to rain heavily on the Myogi course. Kenta Nakamura takes this opportunity to challenge Takumi and his Eight-Six in a downhill battle, saying that Takumi is not worthy of racing Ryosuke Takahashi unless he beats him. Takumi ponders briefly but then agrees to it, and brings Itsuki along to ride in the back seat.
