The Lone Ranger: Part 2 of the Lone Ranger origin reveals how the masked man finds his horse, Silver; and how he came to use silver bullets. Tonto is sent into town to "fetch the sherrif" for the first time. Skeptical at first, the local sherrif is later convinced the Lone Ranger is on the side of law and order. It seems an old family friend of the Ranger's, Jim Blane, is being blamed for the shooting of a local judge. The real killer, Butch Cavendish, has been wounded by Blaine, and has had his men kidnap the town doctor to heal the outlaw. The sherrif and The Ranger track down the gang, and a fight ensues. The sherrif has them rounded up and the Lone Ranger slips away (also for the first time). But just then, the rest of the Cavendish gang ride in, getting the drop on the sherrif and the doctor, and taking them away. The Lone Ranger sees this and chases after the villian with a hearty "Hi-Ho Silver Away!"
