It was better then I expected back in 2006 when CARS made it's debut it was aimed at younger children like my son who was 2 years old when he saw it in the theatre and it captured his attention. Now my don id 7 years old and his youngest brother is 2 years old and we took them to see CARS 2. They LOVED IT. Cars 2 is not made for adults it is made for kids pure and simple but Cars 2 grew up with it's audience. the theme is the same it is about friendship and being there for your friends and This time it is also about not being afraid to be yourself. The Story is not complicated which is good because it is a kids movie after all and those should never be too complicated. There is more action in this one then the first one and maybe a better story in this one then the first. The only drawback is no Paul Newman who sadly died before he could take his part as Doc Hudson . But We did Get Michael Caine as Finn Mcmissile a secret agent in the James Bond mold. The magic continues. See it and make your mind up for yourself Pixar didn't stumble when they made this flick. They grew up and brought more of the magic with them for us to enjoy.

First of all when I read some of the reviews about this movie all my excitement was drained but I went to see it anyway. What do you now, the movie was great. It was fun, had a lot of action in it, the CGI was nice (excecpt few scenes in the beginning). I thought acting was nice Gyllenhaal (prince) and Arterton (Princess) did a good job in my opinion. As a fun of the game; the script wasn\'t entirely accurate just like most of the movies based on games but it didn\'t stray too far either. OK it was not the perfect movie but it was something that I would go and watch its sequel. Overall I enjoyed myself and I believe if you go open minded you will enjoy yourself too.$

This one has recaptured the fun of the franchise while potentially being the darkest one in terms of plot. Alternate universe stories have been done to death, but the appealing nature of so many of the characters makes this one work, as well as the fact that the filmmakers are clearly trying to wrap up the story (which includes a small bit of retconning at the beginning, but it pays off toward the end). The 3D occasionally falls into the trap of throwing things towards the audience, but the characters and sets are so beautifully animated in all dimensions (the textures of Shrek and Donkey, particularly, have improved even on the wonder that was Kung Fu Panda) that the 3D actually adds to the enjoyment. The first two remain the crown jewels of the franchise, but this is a worthy addition and a suitable end to the... well, saga is too strong a word, so storyline will have to do. And the bonus? Eddie Murphy gets to sing SEVERAL songs WITHIN the movie!$

Nevertheless, I surprisingly never lost interest, something I was kind of expecting, because I\'ve been keeping up with this movie for almost a year now. It held me to the very end, and I never got bored with it. Putting the movie up against the original, it failed. But putting it up against the entire Nightmare franchise, I\'d say it was better than all the sequels. A very worthy entry, a great popcorn movie, and a great comeback to an icon who hasn\'t had a movie completely to himself in 16 years. I\'ll definitely buy it when it comes out. Putting it in the context of remakes/reboots, I\'d say it was above RZ\'s Halloween II, Stepfather, Friday The 13th, Texas Chainsaw, and The Wolfman, but lower than Hills Have Eyes and Last House On The Left.$

It does not disappoint. The funny parts are well acted as are the few moments of serious dialog. I often walk out of a theater feeling like that was an hour and a half of my life I will never get back. Too many crappy endings and just drawn out movies. It\'s a let down to see serious faces as after a comedy is over. This is a fantastic upbeat, funny movie that will have you smiling as you walk out of the theater. Be sure to hang around a minute after it\'s over so you can see the hilarious out-takes. Jennifer Lopez is picky when it comes to the projects she chooses. I know if she is in it than it\'s going to be good. It is a pleasure to see Alex O\'Loughlin in the role of the charming and attractive all around \$

Tasha smith made me laugh as always, I liked the character \'Angela\' in this one better than in the last one, the character just seemed a bit too over the top (she is in this one but I think it\'s more understandable from my point of view) I\'m surprised people don\'t like the film, I\'d definitely recommend it to others!$
